Property Consultations/ Site Analysis

At Horticultural Creations , we believe a property inspection is just as important as a house inspection.  You may want to know many things that will improve the aesthetics and value of your property.  Or, you may want to know how to solve issues or problems and the costs associated with them.  Tim Ramey, a Professional Landscape Consultant, will share his knowledge, along with 30 years of experience, to help you through this planning process.

A property consultation provides you with full knowledge of four basic areas: arboriculture, horticulture, hardscapes, and landscape/design concepts. While walking your property with Tim, you will discuss the many different topics of gardens and landscapes. Tim states, "People love to ask me many questions concerning plants, trees, insects, diseases, and different kinds of gardens or outdoor rooms. I love to teach them about plants.  I love to work with them and guide them. Sometimes, they just want me to do it all."
A property consultation is for the do-it-yourselfer, homeowner and contractor.

Arboriculture entails a complete diagnostic survey of the trees on your property. We will check for areas such as correct planting and mulching, the need for tree pruning, removal or transplanting, soil decompaction, and insects and diseases, etc.

Horticulture diagnostic includes plant identification, different types of garden installation and maintenance, basic lawn issues, invasive weeds, vines, soil conditions, mulching, hedge restoration, rejuvenational pruning and ornamental pruning.

Hardscapes pinpoints existing conditions and/or creates new conditions such as new steps, walks, walls, patios, fences, irrigation, ledge, drainage issues, and outdoor lighting.

Landscape/Design concepts bring together all the existing and proposed areas mentioned above, arboriculture, horticulture, and hardscapes. This area of the site analysis incorporates form and function along with colors, tones, textures, scale, and focal points.
